The Datacryptor® 2000 (DC2K) link models are designed to protect data transmitted over point-to-point leased or dial lines. The units authenticate remote devices, automatically exchange key material and encrypt and decrypt transmitted data. Depending on the model, units can transmit encrypted data at speeds up to 512 Kbps, 2.048 Mbps or 8 Mbps. Data is encrypted using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm, 3DES, government cryptography, or customized ciphers. Protocol transparency and scalability makes the units highly flexible in a variety of point-to-point environments.
